I'm the founder of Ottawa Mini Sessions and the lead photographer behind the lens. With over a decade of experience as an Ottawa family photographer, I built this brand on the belief that everyone deserves professional photos that feel natural, joyful, and true to life.
My editing style is bold, colourful, and full of emotion. Every gallery tells a story that feels authentic — whether it’s chasing little ones through autumn leaves, cozying up during holiday mini sessions in Ottawa, or celebrating spring blossoms at the Arboretum.
Hi, I’m Michelle, a bilingual Ottawa photographer and assistant at Ottawa Mini Sessions. You’ll usually spot me with a caramel iced latte in hand and my little dog by my side, especially when taking in the colours of my favourite season, fall! I’m passionate about the art of storytelling and love creating heartfelt, sentimental, and true-to-life memories for every family and couple I meet.

"14/10 would recommend! This is the first time I had family photos with Farrah and I will definitely be going back! She made our 10 month old very comfortable and did an outstanding job capturing our family. I don't like photos that are too light and airy, Farrah's style seems to be bold and colorful which I absolutely LOVE. We did a mini session with her and got a ridiculous amount of photos back, way more than expected which was a pleasant surprise. Exceptional value, I almost feel like we robbed her. It was clear that work was being done round the clock to get the photos to clients as I received mine at midnight. You'd have no regrets with Farrah. Will be returning in the future."

She was friendly, asked if there was anything specific we wanted her to capture and then started directing us.
